How to Join

The quickest and easiest way to join us is to fill out the Ramblers Association (RA) application form online. To ensure that you are correctly allocated to our group's membership list, please enter 'Notts & Derby Group NE16' into the local group box on the form.

You are not obliged to join the group immediately. Please feel free to turn up to a few walks and socials first to get a feel for the group and make sure it's right for you. We ask you to join as soon as you start turning up to events regularly.

Membership forms are available from any group committee member and most walk leaders. There are number of benefits of joining which include:

Ability to go on NDWG group weekends away
Ability to go onto the NDWG group email list (weekly updates)
Regular group walks programmes and newsletters posted to you free
The Ramblers Handbook & Accommodation Guide free
Walk - the Ramblers quarterly colour magazine with its celebrity columnists, breathtaking photography and campaigning journalism
Hike - the Ramblers magazine which is specifically aimed at the 20s-30s age group
